Property inspections are a part of living in an HOA. The property inspection are done monthly but could change. We wanted to make you aware of this inspection because we don’t like sending violation letters and we know you don’t like to receive them. We understand. This inspection is done once a month and we will view the properties from the street, we will not enter your property and you do not need to be present. Our inspectors will drive by the homes and look for the following issues:
Landscape maintenance is the major topic of compliance notices
Some tips to help avoid issues are:
• Apply pre-emergent in rock areas to prevent weeds and grass. Do regular patrols around your house to catch stray weeds.
• Trim shrubs to control growth.
• Use blowers to clean debris from mulched areas.
• Schedule professionals to trim trees. This include trees in the front and the back of the home.
Please remember you need Architectural approval to make changes to the exterior of your home.
Weeds and landscape are MAJOR problems in our community. Please take pride in your home and maintain your front yard.
• The recipe for the alternative weed spray is: 1 Gallon of White Vinegar, 2 Cups Epson Salts, and 1/4 cup of Dawn Dish Soap. Mix and spray the solution generously on the weeds. It may take a couple of application over a few days. You must remove the dead weeds.
Walls, fences and gates must be free of chips and peeling or fading.
Stucco and fascia (trim) must not have any damage, chips or peeling of paint.
This is not an inclusive list but a general idea of what the inspectors look for.
If your home is found to have any violations, letters will be sent to both the property owner and the property address.
